Veil Moments is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share your personal information. Almost everything the app does stays entirely on your device.
This policy explains what data the app uses, where it goes, and what third-party services are involved. It applies to the Veil Moments app on iOS and Android.

Data stored on your device
The following information is saved locally in the app's private storage on your device. It is never transmitted to us and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Quote content
The app fetches wellness quotes from our own backend server. When requesting quotes, your device sends your selected mood (struggling, neutral, or thriving) as a query parameter so relevant quotes can be returned. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests, and we do not log or store individual request data on our servers.
In-app purchases
Veil Moments Pro is available as a monthly subscription processed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not handle, see, or store your payment information. All billing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies.
Your subscription status is stored locally on your device only.
Advertising (free version)
The free version of Veil Moments displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Veil Moments Pro subscribers see no ads. AdMob is not initialised for Pro users.
You can opt out of personalised ads at any time through your device settings: Settings → Privacy → Tracking on iOS, or Settings → Google → Ads on Android.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, the app schedules local notifications on your device to deliver quotes at your chosen times. These notifications are generated entirely on-device — no data is sent to our servers to trigger them. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
No account required
Veil Moments does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any other identifying information. There is no login, no profile, and no data associated with you as an individual.
Children's privacy
Veil Moments is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
Data retention & deletion
Because all personal data is stored on your device, you are in full control. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. There is no account to delete and no data held on our servers associated with you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
