Veil Moments Support

Frequently asked questions

First, check that notifications are enabled for Veil Moments in your device settings: Settings → Veil Moments → Notifications → Allow Notifications.

Then open the app and make sure at least one notification slot (morning, midday, or evening) is toggled on in the Settings screen. Opening the app regularly also keeps your quotes fresh — notifications use locally cached content.

Subscriptions are managed directly through Apple or Google — we don't handle billing ourselves.

On iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Veil Moments → Cancel Subscription.

On Android: Google Play → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Veil Moments → Cancel.

You'll keep access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.

Go to Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchase. This re-links your App Store or Play Store purchase to the app on your current device.

If restoring doesn't work, try force-closing the app and reopening it. If you're still having trouble, please contact us at hello@veilmomentsapp.com with your order number.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us directly.

Apple: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and select the Veil Moments subscription to request a refund.

Google: Open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history → find the charge → tap Report a problem.

Pro unlocks the full experience: unlimited quotes per day, tone filter (grounding, energising, comforting, ambitious), mood history and streak tracking, unlimited saved quotes, a custom evening notification slot, and no sponsored moments.

On first launch, Veil Moments downloads a set of quotes — this requires an internet connection. If the download failed, quotes from the built-in library will appear instead.

Try closing and reopening the app with a stable internet connection. If quotes still don't load, please contact us and we'll look into it.

All your data — mood history, saved quotes, preferences — is stored locally on your device only. Uninstalling the app removes everything completely. We don't hold any personal data on our servers, so there's nothing to request deletion of.
